Carol Zhao is a Canadian professional tennis player who came into the limelight after winning the junior doubles title at the 2013 Australian Open. For a brief while in 2018, from June 11 to July 23, she was Canada’s top-ranked singles player. During her college career, she led the Stanford Cardinal tennis team to the 2016 NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) Championships. She finished her college career with a sublime 76-16 win-loss record and was the runner-up at the singles event during the 2015 NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) Championships. Carol also won the Gold medal at the doubles event of the 2015 Pan American Games.
